She's great at holding down the fort, but she comes off as stubborn, dogmatic, and overzealous, and I just can't find anything to like about her. Pallegina - I've used her for most of the game as a Herald just to have a good frontliner. I find him entertaining, and I like that he seems more inquisitive than combative. Tekehu - Somehow he's pulled off the haughty thing while being likeable, at least to me. He's funny, but he has depth in the right spots too. Serafen - I've loved this little rascal since the moment he joined my party. Plus, as far as gameplay's concerned, she went from struggling to keep my team alive in the early game to flourishing later in the game and dealing good damage on top of keeping my team alive. It seems like she's fairly thoughtful, and a lot of her sayings were endearing to me. Xoti - I really thought I wouldn't like her after I recruited her, as she seemed a little too gung ho about the religious stuff at first, but she's really grown on me. So, who are your favorites and least favorites? I'll start with mine. My opinions about some of the companions have changed as I've played the game, and some of them have even surprised me, which has made me interested in hearing what other people think about Deadfire's companions. I've more or less used the same group of companions since I got to Neketaka (Teheku, Pallegina, Xoti, and Serafen + my character, swapping in others for personal quests), and I've been thinking about who I might want to focus on next time. Hey r/projecteternity, I'm about 30 hours into Deadfire, and I've been loving every second of it.
